This is one of those dressings that goes well with so many things, on fish, poached chicken, on fried eggs and so much more. Best of all, it is super easy to make.

Ingredients

*2 large green onions stalks (shallots), finely sliced

* ⅓ cup canola oil

* 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger

* 1/2 tsp sea salt

* 1 tablespoon sesame oil


Method

1. Finely slice the green onions and place them in a heatproof bowl.

2. Heat the canola oil in a small pot until hot. Turn off the heat.

3. Add the grated ginger and sea salt to the hot oil. Stir for about 10 seconds.

4. Add the sesame oil and stir to combine.

5. Carefully pour the hot oil mixture over the sliced green onions.

6. Stir everything together, and it’s ready to eat!

Serve as a delicious topping for noodles, rice, dumplings, meats, or vegetables.
